Liturgy is the project of Haela Ravenna Hunt-Hendrix, whose yearning, energetic “transcendental black metal” exists in the space between metal, experimental, classical music and sacred ritual. The band is simultaneously a platform for fine art and theology. 
Liturgy has broken boundaries and unintentionally provoked the purity of the genre at every step of its prolific and wildly experimental lifespan.

Following this year’s Basilica 24-hour drone festival in Hudson, NY and Copenhagen’s A Colossal Weekend festival, this special solo performance will be Liturgy’s New Zealand debut.
